GCE holds essay-writing, speech and poster competitions tied to college programmes such as Independence Day and Sports Week, as well as current issues.

Posters are designed around each day's topic and displayed on stage or walls during events, expressing themes of patriotism, social messages and awareness.

These competitions develop students' skills in expressing messages visually and verbally, and make college events colourful, attractive and engaging.
